Did you know that some people can determine the strength of a leader within mere minutes of meeting him or her? Some can without saying a word or even making eye contact. However, most people do not have that gift of discernment, but anyone can tell if a leader is weak and unsuccessful after just a brief conversation. I find that many marketers fail to use their most powerful tool when in the process of networking and that's Posture!

How long you've been in your business or how much success you may have obtained has nothing to do with the way in which you should posture yourself and represent yourself in the business world. When you are talking with a prospect for the first time, it is you who determines how that prospect perceives you. Whether they see a strong minded, confident and successful entrepreneur or a green, unsuccessful, fumbling newbie.

The determining aspect in your posture is really simple. Stupid simple really. It all boils down to confidence! And I am not talking about the superficial confidence that you would use to put on as a mask and take off behind closed doors. I mean that confidence that comes with hours of studying, learning and listening. You see, this now has to become your lifestyle. The main reason people fail in this business is not because of bad luck or un-coachable sponsors. It because of sheer laziness. Too lazy to pick up a book and read about leadership. Too lazy to listen to audio sessions of proven leaders, who by the way, gives away vital information that will lead to your success. Too lazy to take the time to learn the ins and outs about your opportunity so that you can answer any question without having to say, "Let me contact my upline and I'll get back to you on that.

Here are five tips that can help you use Facebook effectively as a business tool:

1. Narrow your market by researching each of Facebook's demographics. This will help you target the right audience.

2. Learn to use tools and applications on Facebook that can help you market your business, such as Facebook Video and business cards.

3. Include detailed information about your business in your profile.

4. Use Facebook as a place to educate. Some people may be interested in your business but may not know much about it.

5. Find people you already know. This is the quickest way to build your network and develop potential clients.

Factoring government invoices gives businesses an opportunity to get paid in days rather then months. Being able to land a government contract, whether large or small, can be a big coup.

The government is generally a very reliable customer with a good deal of money to spend. Because of this, it is fairly easy to get paid upfront for a government jobs by selling the contract invoice (receivables) to a Factor. Factors will purchase the contract invoices of companies who have customers with good credit. Most government agencies will qualify.

One problem with alternative sources of financing (those besides invoice factoring) is that it can take some time before a business is able to get money. For example, if a company wanted to apply for a loan, they would have to gather all of the necessary paper work, fill out the loan applications and then wait for the banks decision.
